Janet with Ray Bolger - as 11-year-old 'Dorothy' in the St. Paul civic Opera's production of "The Wizard of Oz", with the original 'Scarecrow' of the famous film.  I'm a Wizard of Oz cult member.  I must have seen that film 30 times, and I still weep at the end.  Judy Garland was my childhood inspiration (and for how many other hundreds, thousands of little girls) to be a singer, actress and dancer.
